Top 40 Artists Downloaded Via P2P Last Week


PayArtists monitored P2P to rank the 40 most popular artists based on number of downloads in a week. Some key trends:

  • Hip Hop music is the most popular genre of downloaded music worldwide
  • Lil Wayne was downloaded more than any other artist last week
  • Classic artists like Dylan, the Beatles and Elvis remain in the Top 40
